From my search, digital humanities is the study and use of online technology as it relates to art, history and the humanities in general. Black digital humanities focuses specifically on how the internet relates to black studies. Black digital humanities explores how everyday black people use the internet as a medium for art, storytelling etc as well as how activists and scholars use the internet to share black cultures and histories online with the general public. I think this field could explore questions like: How have everyday people, scholars and/or activists used the internet to discuss black histories and cultures? How have racial justice movements used the internet for their goals? How has the internet been used to perpetuate and/or challenge anti-black racism?
